T'Challa dies of an illness. His sister Shuri blames herself for failing to save him and buries her grief in her work.
2. Vibranium in demand
A year later, Queen Ramonda rules. Nations around the world start searching for vibranium outside Wakanda.
3. Namor of the sea
When vibranium is found on the ocean floor, Namor, king of Talokan, comes to Wakanda and demands the scientist who built the detector.
4. Riri Williams
Shuri and Okoye find the detector's inventor: Riri, a U.S. college student. Then Namor's warriors capture Shuri and Riri.
5. The kingdom of Talokan
Namor shows Shuri his kingdom and his past, and proposes they join forces against the outside world.
6. The queen falls
Nakia rescues Shuri, but an angry Namor attacks Wakanda, and Queen Ramonda is killed.
7. A new Black Panther
Shuri recreates the herb, takes it herself and becomes the new Black Panther. On the Ancestral Plane, she meets not her brother but Killmonger.
8. Revenge, or something else
In the battle at sea, Shuri gets Namor at her mercy, but remembers her mother's words and chooses peace over revenge. At last she quietly mourns her brother.
