Yelena and the others pull people out of the shadows, acting like real heroes for the first time.
Yelena dives into the shadow and walks through Bob's painful memories, which mirror her own.
Instead of fighting Bob, Yelena tells him he's not alone. The others join her, and together they hug him. The darkness lifts and the people return.
In front of the press, Valentina introduces the team as the New Avengers, using their popularity to save herself.
