Right after Season 1. At the TVA, Loki realizes his body keeps jumping into the past and future. Mobius at first can't believe this Loki's story.
They visit Ouroboros, called O.B., the technician who repairs the TVA's machines. He explains that time itself is pulling at Loki.
Loki goes to the giant Temporal Loom, which weaves the flow of time, and is fitted with a device that tethers him to the present.
In 1982, Sylvie walks into a fast-food restaurant, beginning a quiet life.
Former TVA hunter X-5 has fled to 1977 London and become an actor. Loki and Mobius catch him and make him talk.
Branches keep multiplying and the Loom is struggling. Some at the TVA want to prune them all.
Loki finds Sylvie again and tries to reason with her as she sets out to stop the TVA.
Loki and the others go to the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, where they find Victor Timely, a young inventor who looks exactly like the man in the Citadel.
Former judge Ravonna and the AI Miss Minutes are after Timely too. Miss Minutes tries to share the TVA's secrets with him.
In the chaos, Timely ends up going with Loki to the TVA.
The Loom is at its limit. If it fails, the TVA and every branch of time will be destroyed.
Timely comes up with a device that might fix the Loom.
Timely heads for the Loom, but it explodes and the TVA is swallowed by light. Loki's friends vanish one by one.
Loki is left alone in a world without the TVA.
Slipping through time, Loki finds his friends living their old lives in their own worlds. Mobius runs a shop with his family, and O.B. is a writer.
Bringing them back, Loki learns to control his time-slipping.
To save the Loom, Loki goes back in time again and again. He spends centuries learning, but the Loom always breaks.
Loki goes back to when the man in the Citadel was alive and learns the Loom was designed to fail.
Loki chooses to hold time together himself, in place of the Loom. He walks to the end of time and gathers the branching timelines in his hands.
The branches form a great tree, with Loki enthroned at its center. His friends begin a new chapter as a TVA that watches over the worlds.
