Episode 1: Glorious Purpose

Loki in the desert

New York, 2012. Captured by the Avengers, Loki grabs the Tesseract in the chaos and vanishes, landing in the Gobi Desert. Armed agents with clock-like devices appear and arrest him.

The TVA

He's taken to the TVA, the organization that guards time. His magic doesn't work there. An animated clock, Miss Minutes, explains that anyone who strays from the set timeline is tried as a "variant."

The trial and Mobius

Judge Ravonna is ready to erase Loki, but Agent Mobius steps in and takes him.

His own future

Mobius shows Loki the future he was meant to have: his mother Frigga dying because of him, and his own death at Thanos's hands. Loki is shaken.

Stones in a drawer

Trying to escape, Loki finds a drawer full of Infinity Stones on a clerk's desk. Here, they're just paperweights.

The job

Mobius asks Loki to help catch a variant who's been killing TVA soldiers. The culprit is a Loki from another time.

Episode 2: The Variant

The Renaissance fair

In 1985, a TVA squad is ambushed by the variant, who uses magic to take over people's minds.

Loki reads the files

Loki pores over the TVA's files and realizes the variant hides in places right before an apocalypse. Since those places will be destroyed anyway, the TVA never notices.

The store in the storm

In 2050, in a superstore in a town about to be wiped out by a hurricane, they corner the variant, who reveals herself as a woman.

Time splinters

She sets off stolen TVA charges, creating branches across many points in time, and escapes through a portal. Loki leaps in after her.

Episode 3: Lamentis

Sylvie

The variant calls herself Sylvie. Fighting each other, they break the TVA device and are stranded on Lamentis, a moon about to be destroyed by its planet.

Heading for the Ark

They board a train toward the Ark carrying people off the planet. On the way, they talk about magic, love and how they grew up. Loki gets drunk and sings.

Who the agents are

Sylvie tells him the TVA's agents are all variants taken from the timeline, their memories wiped.

The Ark falls

They reach the Ark, but it's destroyed before their eyes. Debris rains from the sky as they stand there, trapped.

Episode 4: The Nexus Event

A bond

On the dying moon, a strong bond forms between Loki and Sylvie. It creates a huge branch in time, and the TVA finds and recaptures them.

Mobius suspects

Mobius hears Loki's claim that the agents are variants and starts digging, growing suspicious of Ravonna.

Mobius is pruned

As Mobius gets close to the truth, Ravonna erases him.

The Time-Keepers

Loki and Sylvie are brought before the Time-Keepers. Sylvie cuts off one's head, and it's just a mechanical puppet. Then Loki is pruned.

After the credits

Loki wakes up in a world of ruins, surrounded by other Lokis.

Episode 5: Journey into Mystery

The Void

Pruned things are sent to the Void, a wasteland at the end of time. There he meets an old Loki, a kid Loki, an alligator Loki and more.

The cloud monster

The Void is guarded by Alioth, a storm cloud that devours everything.

Sylvie and Mobius

At the TVA, Sylvie pries a clue about the TVA's creator from Ravonna and prunes herself to reach the Void. Mobius, alive, joins them too.

Classic Loki

The old Loki conjures a huge illusion to distract Alioth, sacrificing himself for the others.

Beyond the monster

Loki and Sylvie combine their magic to enchant Alioth. As it clears, a citadel at the end of time appears.

Episode 6: For All Time. Always.

The master of the Citadel

Waiting in the Citadel is the man who created the TVA. He explains that long ago, versions of himself from different worlds waged war with each other. To stop it, he kept time on a single path, watched over by the TVA.

Two paths

He offers them a choice: take his place and run the TVA, or kill him and unleash war again.

Sylvie's choice

Loki hesitates, but Sylvie stabs the man. He dies saying they'll see him again. The timeline splinters into countless branches.

A different TVA

Loki is sent back to the TVA, but Mobius doesn't recognize him. The statues of the Time-Keepers have been replaced by a statue of the man from the Citadel.
