In a snowy wasteland, Deadpool is digging up the grave of Logan, who died in Logan. TVA soldiers arrive.
Deadpool fights them using Logan's metal skeleton as a weapon, then dances through the opening titles to a 1990s pop hit.
Six years earlier, Wade asks Happy Hogan for a spot on the Avengers. He's told he's not ready.
Crushed, Wade quits being Deadpool, splits from his girlfriend Vanessa and sells used cars with his friend Peter.
Friends and Vanessa gather for Wade's birthday. Then the TVA shows up and takes him away.
TVA agent Paradox explains that Wade's world is slowly dying because its anchor, Logan, is dead. He offers to bring Wade alone into the main timeline.
Wade learns Paradox doesn't plan to wait; he'll erase the world all at once with a machine.
Wade figures that if he brings in a new Logan, his world might be saved. He steals a TemPad and runs.
Wade jumps between universes visiting Wolverine after Wolverine, without luck.
He finally finds a Logan drunk in a bar, the one the TVA calls the worst Wolverine, a man who failed to save the X-Men in his world.
Wade brings Logan to the TVA, but Paradox mocks them and dumps them into the Void.
The Void is a desert of everything the TVA erased. The pair are captured by its ruler, Cassandra Nova, Professor X's twin.
They meet heroes stranded in the Void: Elektra, Blade, Laura (X-23) and Gambit, plus Dogpool, a dog dressed as Deadpool.
Wade and Logan have a brutal fight in a car. Afterward, Logan begins to open up about what happened in his world.
The heroes storm Cassandra's base but fall to her power. Wade and Logan use the moment to escape the Void.
They return to the TVA to stop the machine, but Cassandra follows them.
Cassandra plans to use the machine to destroy not just one world, but all of them.
Wade and Logan take the machine's energy head-on. Logan, the 'worst Wolverine,' becomes a hero again.
Cassandra is destroyed by the machine, and Paradox is arrested by TVA Hunter B-15. Wade's world is saved.
Logan settles into Wade's world, welcomed by his friends, and finds a new place to belong.
