No. It's a separate series that retells Spider-Man from the start. The two Peters do eventually meet in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Dr. Connors. Pressured by Oscorp to rush human trials, he injects himself with the unfinished serum and becomes the monster.

As he dies, the captain makes Peter promise to keep Gwen out of danger. Peter pulls away from her, but the final scene hints he may not keep that promise.

Who's the man in the mid-credits scene?

A shadowy figure visits Connors in his cell and asks whether he told Peter the truth about his father. His identity isn't revealed in this film.
